Securing Sustainable Funding for Public Transportation (SEPTA)
A strong and reliable public transit system is essential to our economic vitality, mobility, and environmental sustainability of southeastern Pennsylvania. I will prioritize securing stable, long-term funding for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and other transit agencies across the Commonwealth through legislative action, responsible budgeting, and coordinated advocacy.
  • Ending the cycle of crisis funding – Rather than accepting the pattern of last-minute stopgaps that have repeatedly pushed SEPTA to the brink, I commit to negotiating multi-year funding agreements that give transit agencies predictable, stable revenue to plan and operate effectively.
  • A smarter funding structure – Increasing the share of sales tax revenue dedicated to transit directly ties SEPTA's funding to economic activity, making it more sustainable and insulating it from the annual political battles over appropriations.
  • Leveraging state dollars for federal billions – Pennsylvania's local funding commitment is the key that unlocks federal infrastructure grants. Strengthening state investment isn't just a local choice – it's the mechanism for bringing significantly more federal dollars back to the region.

Investing in Public Safety that Works for Everyone
I believe that everyone in PA District 148 deserves to both feel safe and be safe in their community. This goal is achieved through smart investment, proper training, and support for our law enforcement and first-responders.
  • Modern, well-trained policing – Strengthen Act 120 to expand de-escalation, scenario-based training, mental health crisis response, and officer wellness – ensuring officers are prepared for real-world situations.
  • Mental health–focused public safety  Prioritize connecting people in crisis with services, reducing use of force while building trust between officers and the communities they serve.
  • Community-centered leadership  Promote visible, approachable policing rooted in local relationships, backed by accountable leadership and smart, efficient use of taxpayer dollars.

Fair Funding for Education is Good for All of Pennsylvania
As your representative, I will fight to fully and fairly fund public schools because this isn’t just about fairness, it’s about our shared future.
  • A court mandate, not just a moral argument – Pennsylvania's school funding system was ruled unconstitutional in 2023, making this not simply a values debate but a legal obligation the legislature must address.
  • We’re in this together – This isn’t someone else's problem. The region's economic health, workforce, and quality of life are directly tied to what happens in neighboring districts.
  • Education funding is an economic and public safety strategy – School funding directly drives workforce quality, business investment, tax revenue, and reduced crime – making it a practical regional priority, not just an equity issue.

Transforming Healthcare Protections for all Pennsylvanians
Healthcare should be affordable and accessible for every family. As your Representative, I will fight for practical solutions that reduce costs, increase transparency, and make sure our healthcare system works for the people of the 148th District.
  • Taking on powerful industry interests – I support stronger oversight of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), cost transparency, and hospital consolidation that are all major drivers of rising costs.
  • Protecting Pennsylvanians from federal rollbacks – With ACA protections under constant threat in Congress, I will work to codify pre-existing condition protections and anti-discrimination rules into Pennsylvania law as a future-proofing and proactive safeguard regardless of what happens in Washington.
  • Practical cost relief for families – From price transparency so patients can compare costs before treatment, to expanding telemedicine for working families and rural communities, my focus is on tangible, near-term relief.
